How many students will attend the Summer Bridge Program?

Space is limited to 60 students. 

When does Summer Bridge take place?

2022 Summer Bridge begins on June 21st concludes on August 12th. 

What requirements do Summer Bridge courses fulfill?

All Summer Bridge courses count toward total units required to graduate, and many fulfill University and/or college requirements.

Do Summer Bridge students choose their own courses?

Students will be enrolled in pre-calculus (MATH 005), writing (WRI 001), and Introduction to Undergraduate Studies (USTU 010).

How much does it cost to attend Summer Bridge? 

Students who submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) and required documents by program deadlines will have their program costs, room and board, and course materials fully covered. In addition to these costs, students may need funds to cover personal expenses and transportation costs, which can be covered by additional financial aid awards or personal funds. Please note: If you submitted a FAFSA or CADAA for the upcoming academic year, you still must submit one for the previous academic year.

Where do Summer Bridge students live?

Summer Bridge participants will live in the Summits, specifically within the Half Dome residence hall. Students will living in triple room assignments.

How are students with disabilities supported?

Academic and housing accommodations are provided to meet the individual needs of each student through Student Accessibility Services.
